Since the launch of the Triumph Tiger 900, the ADV motorcycle market hasn’t been the same. With the take of every corner, motorbikes are becoming better and more specialized on a certain use. With this bike, things are a bit different. It’s a huge leap towards capability, on tarmac long distances and off-road. A Euro 5 compliant engine that delivers a peak power of 94 HP @8750 rpm, and torque of 87 Nm @7250 rpm based on the center of the bike, allows a proper balance for any riding condition. Not as dirt-biased as the KTM 890, this one is meant to keep a proper balance between long-distance tarmac riding and dirt delights. This in part to its fully adjustable 240 mm Showa front bars and a RSU for the rear shock with 230 mm of travel. Given the extra space compared to the Tiger 800 (10mm more spacious to the handle bar) and adjustable seat height, is much easier simply to rest in a long ride and more relaxed when riding with the bike fully loaded. We expect this new acquisition fills the gap between our existent models and attracts the right type of rider for this motorcycle.
