We are looking for ways to support the community and help those that are in need. Therefore, we have formalized, this desire to help others in three different ways:
- • Supporting the Prosonrisas Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)
- • Our own flipped learning initiative, to support needed schools in remote rural areas
- • The Turismo Comunitario initiative
We are directing 5% of the whole ticket from selected tours, to either the ProSonrisas fund or to the Flipped learning Initiative. This is chosen by you as a client.

ProSonrisas
ProSonrisas is a non-profit organization whose main objective is to support and bring hope to people with catastrophic diseases, children waiting for an organ transplant, and vulnerable groups. Their goal is to improve their life quality.
As a company, we are grateful to be involved in their project. We have participated so far in their events for kids in need of an organ transplant. Not only with cash but also by being in the event and providing a smile to children that were born at a physical disadvantage. These kids’ age goes from 2 to 18 years old, who can’t have a normal life and can’t play as a normal kid would. So, just to draw a quick smile, and take them away from their daily struggle, produces an enormous joy for us.
We work as per their schedule. Their events have fixed dates, but our clients can see what they have helped to support. We post their contribution at advrider.com, which is known to be one of the best motorcycle adventure info sources out there.
Flipped Learning Initiative
There are some schools in Ecuador in rural areas, that don’t benefit fully from the education governmental budget. These schools have different needs depending on where they are located, the number of children attending, and also, their family economical status. Since we are in constant communication with them, we know what they need and we are more than happy to help bring your contributions to them. On tours that ride through these schools, we work along with our clients, by purchasing the materials needed in Ecuador prior to their arrival, this avoids the hassle from many airlines when it comes to paying excessive fees for check-in luggage.
We then provide our clients with the receipts of the material purchased and, and the truck free of charge to bring these materials to the schools, and let our clients be the ones delivering the material to the kids while they are on their tour.
Turismo Comunitario initiative.
The Turismo Comunitario initiative has a supportive meaning for families and communities in distant locations, that have few sources of income, and they help themselves by offering their humble homes for lodging, or by cooking meals for our riders. These are not expensive or lack quality. But is a major aid for people whose services are not advertised.
You can choose whether to take your tour in full or partially with this initiative.
In the header of every tour, we have posted how these support each initiative. They have been marked with a star. We would like to thank you in advance for your help to improve the quality of life for the needy in Ecuador.
