FIRST STOP

Departing from our offices at 8 am, the first stop takes place at the Pululahua volcano. One of the few craters in the world that allows life inside of it. A stunning way to start your day.

SECOND STOP

 

The Solar museum Intiñan has one of the best explanations and is pretty interactive about how, when, and specific details about the Equatorial line. See the culture of the Incas when it came to worshipping the God Sun.

THIRD STOP

Being in Quito and not visiting the Mitad del Mundo monument is like never being there. Therefore your next stop will be there, where you can enjoy and learn about the truths and myths about being in latitude 0.

Also, in the walk inside the monument, you will get to learn at a glance an important part of the history of Ecuador and its different cultures.

FOURTH STOP

From Mitad del mundo, you’ll ride to the historical center of Quito, the reason why Quito was declared the cultural heritage of humanity. Visit the famous Basilica del Voto Nacional, and from its hill, you can take pictures of Quito and the surroundings.

FIFTH STOP

Carondelet, the formal house of the president, and the governmental palace will be the place to visit here. Many stories surround the famous La Ronda street. Nearby the center, La Compañia church, and its Baroque style will leave you breathless.

SIXTH STOP

A few minutes away, there is El Panecillo, a viewpoint for the whole city. At the top, La Virgen de Quito will welcome you. Her face staring at Quito shows her blessing to the city.

A perfect point for a snack here. Enjoy “Canelazos” with higo sandwich. to keep yourself warm at those heights.

SEVENTH STOP

The last stop will be at Teleférico. Finishing our tour with a beautiful sight of the city at night. The Teleferico will take you from 2500 meters (8175 feet) to close to the 4000 meters (13100 feet) above mean sea level in 15 minutes.

MINDO – QUITO

We finalize our tour entering in Quito from the North West, not before be able to see the Mitad del Mundo (middle of the world). A mystical place where the magnetic field plays naughty and some physical experiments can be done.
